Tree Warden
The Tree Warden is responsible for ensuring the health and beauty of all the trees located in the Town right-of-ways. Trees located on private property are the responsibility of the individual homeowner. The Town reserves the right to request that trees obstructing sightlines for traveling motorists be trimmed back.
Schedule Inspection
To schedule an inspection of a suspect tree (diseased, dead or dying) email; Publicworks@bethel-ct.gov and leave the following information:
- Your name
- Street Address
- Phone Number
- Location of tree in question (across from driveway, next to driveway, between our properties, etc.)
- Kind of tree (i.e. Maple, spruce, oak, or white pine, etc.)
If Tree Is Found To Be On Town Property
Due to a tremendous backlog of requests, the tree will be removed in the order in which the request was received. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
