6/13/2017 - Bethel Police participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run
On Friday, June 9th, 2017, members of the Bethel Police Department carried the Torch through Bethel during the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run. The Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest fund raising and awareness event for the Special Olympics of Connecticut, and encompasses many communities throughout Connecticut. The Bethel leg, which began at the Danbury border on Rte. 53 and ended at the Dodgingtown Market in Newtown, was run by Ofc. Vasquez, Disp. Magyar, Sgt. Christos, Cpl. Broad, Ofc. Emerson, Ofc. Holland, Ofc. Beamonte, and Ofc. Fekieta, and biked by Sgt. Mackenzie (not pictured).
